Request Vault Terms & Conditions

1. Service scope

Request Vault is a secure file-request product for collecting files, photos, signatures, and intake details. It is separate from BrightTally’s poll, form, quiz, and payment-form product flows even when both products share infrastructure or the same user account.

2. Accounts and access

Senders must use a valid account to create, purchase, or manage Request Vault requests. Recipients may usually complete a request without creating an account, using a secure link delivered by the sender.

Senders are responsible for who they invite, how long a request should remain open, and whether a recipient should be allowed to upload files, submit notes, or provide a signature. Shared team access may allow multiple authorized users on the same team to review request history and completion status.

3. Sender responsibilities

Senders are responsible for using Request Vault lawfully, requesting only information they are entitled to collect, setting accurate instructions, and honoring any legal or contractual obligations they owe to recipients.

This includes responsibility for export controls, privacy notices, consent requirements, confidentiality obligations, and any industry-specific rules that apply to the files or information being requested.

4. Recipient submissions

Recipients are responsible for the accuracy and legality of submitted files, notes, and signatures. Request Vault may reject, limit, or remove abusive, malicious, or prohibited content.

A completed request may include one or more uploaded files, optional notes, a typed name, a timestamped signature, and basic activity records such as when the link was opened or the submission was finalized.

5. Pricing and usage

Request Vault pricing, request limits, expiration defaults, and included usage are product-specific. Charges and credits for Request Vault are separate from BrightTally subscriptions, AI credits, and SMS balances unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Unless stated otherwise, usage is generally tied to valid completed requests rather than draft setup alone. We may disregard clearly abusive, fraudulent, or technically invalid completions when calculating usage or enforcing limits.

6. Request links, expiration, and availability

Request Vault links may expire automatically, may be closed manually by the sender, and may stop accepting uploads after completion or after policy, security, or billing limits are reached. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any individual link.

7. Privacy and cookies

Use of Request Vault is also subject to the Request Vault Privacy Policy and Request Vault Cookie Policy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Request Vault for abuse, fraud, non-payment, security risk, or violations of these Terms.

9. Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Request Vault after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
